With three Futurecraft 4D sneakers under his belt, Yohji Yamamoto is the one and only adidas collaborator to take on the innovative silhouette… do teraz. since 2005, the three stripes and British fashion designer Stella McCartney have teamed up to rework all kinds of different sneakers, and for their next project, they’re handling the iconic AlphaEdge 4D.
Decked out in an all-black mesh across its upper, the shoe features a sock-like design, with the throat embroidered with “Stella McCartney”; branding all-around. around the back, a heel pull tab is present for added convenience, and down below, a full length Futurecraft 4D midsole is present, crafted from light and oxygen through digital Light Synthesis – a 3D printing process that provides unprecedented support, cushioning, and energy return.
However, instead of the usual ‘Aero Green’ hue, it’s painted in an off-white shade for an even cleaner look. To round it all off, a black Continental outsole is present down below for unbeatable traction, making these the perfect shoe to rock all-year-round.
The Stella McCartney x adidas AlphaEdge 4D is set to be a limited edition release and will be available very soon. like all sneakers from the English designer, it will be exclusive to ladies – but that probably won’t stop guys from trying to squeeze their way in! let us know if you’ll be copping a pair, and while you’re here, take a look at the full adidas sneaker range!
